Mullin receives Chamber Employee of the Month award

NORWICH – Lisa Mullin, Vet Technician at Pet Street Station Animal Hospital, was selected as the recipient of Commerce Chenango’s August Employee of the Month.
Mullin began her career with Pet Street as a volunteer when she was in high school. A native of Norwich, she has been there for 14 years. She attended, Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology. She currently serves as the head Veterinary Technician for the organization and is responsible for management and oversight of the technicians and patient care.
Mullin’s co-workers say that she is “knowledgeable, patient, a good teacher, very friendly and has a wonderful sense of humor. Lisa exemplifies a dedicated, hard-working and often under-appreciated and sometimes self-sacrificing employee.”
Mullin is married with two children, ages five and three and enjoys sewing, needlepoint and reading when she has a spare moment!
She received $100 cash, made possible through the sponsorship of Mang Insurance Agency, a $50.00 gas card from Mirabito Energy Group, and a gift certificate from Nina’s Pizzeria and Restaurant.
The Employee of the Month Award was established to enable member businesses and organizations to nominate their outstanding employees for recognition by the Chamber.
