Norwich 7, Johnson City 0

NORWICH – Norwich did not give up a set, and moved over the .500 mark (4-3) sweeping all seven points against Johnson City Monday.

Bryn Loomis, Sophie Stewart, Reva Seager, and Jessica Lerner won at singles, and for Stewart, she improved her record to 7-0 on the season.

Katie Orioli-Emily Stewart, Kristi Orioli-Alyssa Stagliano, and Shaniqua Yaccarino-Gina Meccariello all teamed for NHS doubles victories. “We played a weaker team today, and we were able to take care of business,” said Norwich coach John Stewart.

The Tornado netters host STAC division favorite Susquehanna Valley on Wednesday.
