GREENE – Greene remained unbeaten in Midstate Athletic Conference action beating an improved Sherburne-Earlville club on Monday night.
Jessica Treadwell had four total victories for the Trojans taking the 50- and 100-yard freestyles, while also teaming up in the winning 200 and 400 freestyle relays. “We look forward to swimming Sherburne-Earlville since they have become much more competitive,” said Greene coach Mike Platta.
Kristina Reynolds, Hannah Bollinger, and Samantha Martin had individual wins for Sherburne-Earlville (2-2).
“We were able to swim a variety of girls in events they don’t normally swim, and I was surprised with the good times we had,” Platta said.
Greene hosts Delhi on Friday.

Otselic Valley 5, George Jr. Republic 0
DRYDEN – Otselic Valley scored three times in the first half, and went on to blank George Jr. Republic Monday for its fourth win this season.
Chris Neal opened the scoring for the Vikes (4-2) getting a pass from Nate Stark. Mike Larkin and Brad Moyer added tallies before halftime.
“We were able to get a number of opportunities and took some good shots today,” said OV coach Dave Loomis. “We had some nice plays that looked good. I hope to save a few of them for the next few games.”
OV hosts McGraw on Wednesday.

G-MU 1, Milford 1
MILFORD – G-MU broke a string of recent shutout defeats Monday against Milford.
DeMario Reed knocked in a left-footed shot into the far post to tie the game for G-MU with 13:27 left in regulation. Play continued into overtime until the game was halted with 2:38 left in the second overtime due to thunder and lightning.
“We had some more offense today, and we’ve had some good chances to score each game,” said G-MU coach Mark Luettger. “We’ve had a lot of trouble scoring and we’ve had a string of giving up bad goals. The whole team was happy today that we didn’t lose.”
G-MU plays at Downsville today.

MILFORD – Milford’s Chandler Prouty had a pair of goals to end a 4-0 first half, and the game was called due to inclement weather with 14 minutes remaining in regulation.
“We had two or three defensive mistakes where we were in the wrong position, and they were able to capitalize,” said Raiders coach Kristen Bradbury.
G-MU plays at Edmeston Thursday.
