ODESSA – Oxford matched its team record for wins in a season, and advanced to the second round of the Section IV, Class C playoffs with a road victory Tuesday afternoon at Odessa-Montour.
The Blackhawks (8-8-1) had two goals from Julie Heggie, and one a goal apiece from Haley Witchella and Emily Smith.
The Blackhawks led 2-1 at halftime and held a decisive 17-6 edge in shots on goal.

EDMESTON – Edmeston eliminated G-MU from postseason competition beatng the Raiders for the third time this season,
Kori Hamm scored three times for the Panthers, her first goal 5 1/2 minutes into the game that gave Edmeston a 2-0 advantage.
“We’ve had some time off, and we just weren’t ready to play at the start of the game,” said G-MU coach Kristen Bradbury. “We improved throughout the year, and this was the first time we’ve been to the playoffs in five years.”
G-MU finishes the season 6-11 overall.
