Trick-or-Treat time Saturday

The National Safety Council urges motorists to be especially alert on Halloween by watching for children darting out from between parked cars and walking on the roadways, medians and curbs. Drivers are urged to enter and exit driveways and alleys with caution.
Municipalities setting trick-or-treat times for Saturday, Oct. 31 include:
• Afton: 4 to 6 p.m.
• Bainbridge: 5 to 7 p.m. followed with “A Night of Fun” at the Greenlawn Elementary School starting at sponsored by Bainbridge Lions Club.
• Earlville: 5 to 8 p.m.
• Greene: 5 to 8 p.m.
• New Berlin: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
• Norwich: 5:30 to 8 p.m.
• Oxford: 5:30 to 8 p.m.
• Sherburne: Immediately following the American Legion Halloween Parade at 4 p.m. until about 8 p.m.
• Smyrna: About 5 to 8 p.m. with activities taking place at the Smyrna Firehouse before, after and throughout.
