BELLEVILLE – Belleville Henderson scored all of its goals in the first half to build a commanding lead, and eliminate OV from Section III postseason play.
Eli Anderson scored early in the game for the Panthers.
“I think if we had shown up with more enthusiasm or something at the start of the game, we would not have dug ourselves so deep of a hole,” said OV coach Dave Loomis. “It was too much ground to make up in the second half.”
OV’s Mike Larkin and Chris Neal had second-half goals. The Vikings finish the season, 9-7-1.
