YMCA welcomes parents in for Family Week

NORWICH – The Norwich Family YMCA is pairing with the Alliance for Children and Families in recognizing the importance of having a supportive family by sponsoring a number of activities.

“We’re kicking off Friday night with movies for the whole family. We’ll be showing two Thanksgiving spirited movies on the projector in the big gym. We’re encouraging people to bring their lawn chairs and kids to bring their sleeping bags,” said YMCA Youth and Family Director Bonnie Tiffany.

Tonight’s holiday movies will feature Charlie Brown and Winnie the Pooh and are open to everyone who wishes to attend. YMCA members will be admitted for free and non-members, ages three and up, will be asked to pay $3.
