NBT hosts annual Business After Hours Holiday Spectacular Dec. 8
NORWICH – Commerce Chenango and NBT Bank will be hosting their Annual Holiday Spectacular on Dec. 8 at the Norwich branch of NBT Bank, at 52 South Broad Street, beginning at 5p.m.
This Annual Holiday Spectacular is a great networking opportunity, and as a large community supporter, NBT Bank will also be promoting the following organizations:
Roots and Wings is an Emergency Services and Basic Needs program established in 1997 whose mission is to coordinate, assist, strengthen and promote opportunities for people to move from dependence to self-sufficiency. They are asking those who attend to bring a boxed or canned food item to support the local food pantry.
Hospice & Palliative Care of Chenango County will be offering Poinsettias for sale to support their efforts. Hospice is a non-profit health care agency that provides quality, compassionate and timely care to terminally ill residents.
The Chenango County Council of the Arts envisions the future of our county as a place where the arts are important in the lives of all residents, and a home for local, national and international artists. The Council strives to provide quality educational arts services and cultural programming to the broadest audiences possible throughout Chenango County.
The Chenango County SPCA’s mission is to provide and promote care, compassion and respect for our animals and our community. Their annual Fur Ball, which will be held on Feb. 13, 2010, is a major fund-raising event.
Established on July 15, 1856, under the name of “Bank of Norwich,” NBT Bank currently has 84 offices in 20 upstate New York counties, and 38 Pennstar Bank offices in six counties in northeastern Pennsylvania. In spring of 2008, NBT Bancorp was ranked among the top 30 financial institutions in the nation for financial performance, by U.S. Banker magazine, a leading banking industry publication. NBT Bank has also been listed by the Central New York Business Journal in the Book of Lists as number eight in total assets in a sixteen county region.
Chamber members who wish to attend the Business After Hours can RSVP to Rachel at 334-1402 by Dec. 7.
