Holiday music by the Dady Bros. at 6 On The Square

OXFORD – Like mulled cider, sugar cookies, and singing carols, the Dady’s have become a holiday tradition at 6 On The Square (6OTS)! Join everybody’s favorite Irish duo this Saturday, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m., as there’s no better way to get in the Holiday spirit than with the very talented, John and Joe Dady. Their wide musical repertoire includes country, bluegrass, folk and Celtic styles, but on stage it’s their light-hearted humor and good-natured wit that really keeps audiences wanting for more. Their Holiday Show will feature songs of the season as well as favorites for a fun-filled evening.
If you haven’t already seen the Dadys, you’ll marvel at their instrumental versatility. They play fiddle, mandolin, guitar, bodhran, banjo, uilleann pipes, harmonica and even penny whistle. This Holiday performance will include traditional selections and holiday favorites. You can join John and Joe in singing holiday carols, and they might even invite you on stage to assist them! Their music is suitable for children of all ages, including those young at heart, making this a great show for the entire family.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 until the day of the performance, $18 on show date. Visit the website at www.6onthesquare.org for tickets and to see who’s coming in 2010.
Saturday from 10 - 4, during this performance and on Sunday (the last day) from 11 - 3, the 6OTS “Holiday Shoppe” will be open featuring hand made items from local artists and craftspeople. There’s even free gift wrapping!
