Early morning fire in Bainbridge

BAINBRIDGE – An early morning structure fire at 2 Terrace Hill Road in the Village of Bainbridge was reported under control shortly before 9 a.m., according to Chenango County’s Emergency Management Office.
The Bainbridge Fire Department responded to the fire, which was called in by the homeowner at 6:07 a.m., with mutual aid from Afton, Coventry, Sidney, Masonville, Oxford, Guilford and Greene, reported Emergency Management Officer A. Wesley Jones.
The American Red Cross and Chenango County Fire Investigators were also on the scene.
