Local restaurant to feature live performances
NORWICH – The Bohemian Moon, known for its American and ethnic-styled lunches and dinners, will begin hosting live musical acts in 2010. Shows will take place on Thursday nights between 6 and 9, featuring a variety of local and regional talent.
This September, previous owner Brenda Gibbon finalized the sale of the Moon to local entrepreneur Miby Kim, who also owns and operates La Maison Blanche, located on state Route 12, south of Norwich.
“I’d always wanted to build a unique kind of restaurant for the people of Norwich,” said Gibbon, who added she had always intended to sell the restaurant eventually. “Miby was the perfect fit to take over.”
“In the entire spectrum of human experience I think Brenda and I are probably 95 percent alike in what we believe and how we do things,” stated Kim. “We are very similar in purpose, and the restaurant just seemed like a great match to the bakery. It just made sense.”
