Greene 33, Sidney 24
GREENE – Greene had to rest several starters on Tuesday night, and as a result, Sidney was able to keep the match relatively close.
This year’s schedule allows only 20 points (match events), down two from allowance of 22 last year. To keep his key starters under that limit, Greene coach Tim Jenks had wrestlers such as Tyler Beckwith and Nick Wilcox take a seat.
“Some other kids came through with nice wins tonight,” Jenks said, singling out Dan Dickman (130), Trevor Parrish (125), and Brett Ramsey (135).
Greene faces Unatego on Thursday, and meets traditional league rival B-G/Afton on Jan. 20.

SIDNEY – Competing in the first-ever meet at Sidney, the Makos won the final four events, and nearly rallied for the win in Tuesday’s non-league matchup with Windsor.
