Ribbon cutting at Park Place today

NORWICH – The Cirello Family has opened a new restaurant ... Park Place Restaurant & Lounge, 7 East Park Place in the heart of downtown Norwich, There will be a ribbon cutting and grand opening festivities today and the community is invited.
Commerce Chenango will hold the ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. with owners, Dave abnd Chic Cirello. President & CEO of Commerce Chenango Maureen Carpenter and Mayor of Norwich Joseph Mauriano will be present.
From 5 to 7 p.m. Grand Opening events will be taking place in the Restaurant and Lounge. Local musician Brian Golden will be performing there. Attendees will have the chance to win a variety of gift certificates and merchandise from businesses like Park Place Restaurant and Lounge, Fred’s Inn Restaurant & Lodging, Skillin’s Jewelers, Kelly Banks Cakes and more. One grand prize winner will win a cruise vacation.
Park Place appreciates the support from people in the area over the years and would like to be a part of giving back to the community by asking attendees to bring a non-perishable food for the local food bank. They are also holding a winter coat drive. Participants who donate a new or gently used winter coat will receive a $5 gift card.
