NORWICH – B. Yung, a familiar face in the Hip Hop music world and newly embraced by the American spoken word community, will be featured at an open slam night at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Cafe Connection in downtown Norwich.

“We are pleased to have B. Yung here. He is a top notch performer and his poetry explores language in innovate ways,” said local poet Emily Vogel, sponsor of the event.

Past and present members of the Norwich High School student poetry club among other guest performers will follow Yung in an open mike, two round slam. Coffees, wines, beers, and desserts will be available for purchase at the Cafe, located on Broad Street.
