The New York State Police and the New Berlin Police Department are investigating a forced entry burglary that took place between the hours of midnight Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday at the Village of New Berlin Quickway, located at 63 South Main St.
New Berlin’s Officer in Charge Dominick Commesso said the suspect(s) gained entry through the rear of the building and managed to break open a “barricaded security door.”
He said police were contacted after the employees arrived at the store the following morning.
