NORWICH – Congressman Mike Arcuri (D-NY) is scheduled to meet with a group of local leaders today to discuss the economic issues and concerns of Chenango County and the area’s business community.
“Some items to be addressed are the former NYS Veterans’ Home in Oxford, NYS Route 12 improvements, healthcare and the potential P&G site project,” reported Commerce Chenango President Maureen Carpenter, whose organization is hosting the event at their offices in the Eaton Center.
According to Carpenter, a number of local business leaders and elected officials are scheduled to participate in the roundtable discussion.
Prior to the meeting, the congressman will be visiting Unison Industries in Norwich.
