ALBANY – Chenango County won’t be represented at a New York State Association of Counties’ meeting of nearly 1,000 county officials this week in Albany. The government officials will be addressing and discussing a range of issues impacting the fate of New York State and its communities.

Chenango County Clerk of the Board RC Woodford said on Friday that Public Works Director Randy Gibbon “usually attends these things.” However, Gibbon said this morning that he would not be attending. Chenango County has opted out of annual NYSAC conferences in the past.
