Dolphins’ 8-and-under girls win district championship

NORWICH – The Norwich YMCA Dolphins, hosts of this year’s district championships last weekend, had 26 individual swimmers come away with top-three finishes, and the 8-and-under girls – Maya Blaisure, Andrea Dempsey, Allie Diers, Gabrielle Eddy, Katie Gawronski, Madison Loeffler, Triniti Myers, Melissa Stroh, and Ashton Wenzel – were the regular season and overall district championship winners. Other top-three team finishes came from the 9-10 girls (second place), 13-14 girls (second place), and 15-18 girls (third place). Below are Norwich’s individual swimmers’ finishes.
