NORWICH – Interested parties have until Friday to register for the YMCA’s Chili Cook-Off, the proceeds of which will go to UNICEF, in an effort to provide aid for the children of earthquake-ravaged Haiti. Restaurants, organizations and families are welcome to register for the event, which will feature entertainment, prizes, raffles and a People’s Choice award. The Chili Cook-Off takes place from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Norwich YMCA.
