NORWICH – Public bus services provided aren’t being interrupted despite an unexpected change of management at First Transit, Inc.

Chenango County Clerk of the Board RC Woodford heard last week from President and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Thornton that he was no longer with the Cincinnati-based company. Thornton joined the company in 2008.

First Transit confirmed that he had resigned. The local business did not return calls by press time this morning, however.
