YMCA hosts first chili cook-off
YMCA Youth and Family Director Bonnie Tiffany presents Mary Nezat with the first prize trophy, in the family category, for its first ever Chili Cook-Off. The event raised over $300 for UNICEF, and will go towards helping the children of earthquake-ravaged Haiti. Among a field of over 20 entries Saturday, awards were given to Family: 1st, Mary Nezat; 2nd, Sastri family; 3rd, Chili Bros. Restaurant: 1st. Garf’s Deli; 2nd, Cafe Connection.
