NORWICH – Excitement is building in the halls of Norwich High School, as the competition heats up between Purple and White in the penultimate battle to see who has more school spirit.

The driving force behind it all is the school’s largest extracurricular student group – the Pep Club.

With the guidance of Advisor Lansing Dimon, Pep Club members organize a number of student-centered events throughout the year, including Homecoming, school dances and pep rallies.

The club’s magnum opus, if you will, is Spirit Week. Months of planning, and boat loads of creativity and ingenuity, go into the annual week-long event, which promotes Purple Pride more than any other single effort.
