Hospice gears up for spring plant sale
Volunteers help coordinate the distribution of nursery plants for Hospice of Chenango County’s annual spring fundraiser at Weiler Park yesterday. Next Wednesday, a cash and carry plant sale to benefit Hospice will take place in East Side Park from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. A wide variety of flowers, from geraniums, Gerber daisies, New Guinea impatiens, and begonias will be available. Large hanging baskets and multiple plant porch pots will also be available. Sales are first come first save; and the event will take place rain or shine. For information call 334-3556 or visit www.hospicechenango.org.
