FIRST Robotics Team #145 holds awards ceremony

NORWICH – The Chenango County F.I.R.S.T (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Team, held their annual year-end celebration and awards banquet on May 20 at the Norwich High School.
Students participating in the 2009-2010 season included: Patrick Bankich, Nate Biviano, Jeff Burlew, Mike Combes, Adam Filer, Sean Gagnon, Justin Lindenthaler, Jacob Misch, Matt Monroe, John Mooney, Eric Olsen, Emily Perry, Madhu Raviselvan, Dillon Robinson, Nate Rose, Alexis Smith, Derrick Talbot, Kati Williams, Andrew Ruhland, Taylor Wolf, David Waters and Aaron Wright.
Certificates were presented to each of the 22 students for participation as well as special awards given for; team leadership, gracious professionalism, artistic design, “inventor” comprehension, most improved rookie, and more. Departing senior members of the team also awarded fun “specialty” items to team members based on individual areas of expertise.
The team would like to thank sponsors, NBT Bank, Norwich Glass, The Balloon Detail, Golden Artist Colors, MJM Photography and the Mid-York Press for their support, as well as all the people that supported individual students.
