Pageant of Bands Jazz Competition to stream live on Internet
SHERBURNE – From 3:15 to 8:45 p.m. today and 3:15 to 9:30 p.m. tomorrow, the Sherburne Pageant of Bands Jazz Competition will stream live on the Internet, a first for the annual competition and a concept pageant officials said they hoped to expand in the coming years.
Also streaming live on Saturday will be the Class B and Class AA Concert Competitions, from 8:30 to 10:35 a.m. and 10:35 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. respectively.
Pageant Coordinator Jeff Manwaring credited the Sherburne-Earlville Central School technical staff for their hard work on the project, and said officials had limited the live-streaming Internet footage to just a few competitions this year as they had “never done this before and wished to test it out.”
