Cook Park open for the season in Greene

GREENE – Cook Park, located off of 189 Parks St. in Greene, opened for the 2010 season this past weekend.
Chenango County’s largest public recreational facility offers 180 acres of outdoor activities. There is camping, boating, fishing, hiking, picnicking and bird watching. Pavilions and campsites are also on site to accommodate large gatherings and longer stays. Day use hours are 7 a.m. to dusk.
Campsites may be reserved for both day and night use, or for weekly, monthly or entire season rentals. There is a minimal charge for day use. Cook Park is open through October.
