Norwich Dollars for Scholars holds 2010 awards ceremony
NORWICH – Norwich Dollars for Scholars, in conjunction with the Norwich City School District, held its 7th annual awards ceremony Monday night at the Chenango County Council of the Arts.
Norwich Dollars for Scholars is a locally operated, not for profit scholarship foundation affiliated with the national program of Scholarship for America. The mission of Dollars for Scholars is to expand access to educational opportunities by involving and assisting the community in support of students in their pursuit of post secondary education.
Since its inception in 2004, Norwich Dollars for Scholars has given away over 160 scholarships representing more than $127,000 to the deserving students residing within the Norwich City School District.
