Laytham named high school principal

OXFORD – On July 1, Janet Laytham will be able to drop “interim” from her title as principal of Oxford High School. The district’s board of education approved Laytham’s appointment to the position on Monday night, for a three-year probationary period.
The certified administrator, who served as the district’s coordinator of student learning prior to her appointment to the interim position in late March, will remain at her current salary of $67,000.
Laytham replaced outgoing administrator Christine Pierce, who left the district for a position with the Village of Greene in April.
