Just Say Yes to Fruits and Vegetables seminar Friday

NORWICH – Our Daily Bread Food Closet, in partnership with the Food Bank of Central New York, will hold its second “Just Say Yes to Fruits and Vegetables” informational seminar on Friday.

The 20 to 30 minute demonstration features licensed nutritionist Roseanne Jones, who said the main focus of the program is to “teach low income people about good nutrition and making good choices, which will save them money when they’re shopping for food.”

This will be Jones’ second visit to Norwich, and Our Daily Bread Food Closet Program Coordinator Linda Fowlston reported that the local food pantry, located in the Emmanuel Episcopal Church on West Main Street, is planning to make the seminar a quarterly event.
