Greene man arrested for child sex crimes
GREENE – A Town of Greene man was arrested Wednesday for engaging a child in sexual acts following a week-long investigation by the New York State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Police charged 52-year-old Wyatt E. McDonough of 132 Ingraham Road with first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, a B Class felony, and use of a child in a sexual performance, a C Class felony.
Troopers said the arrest was the result of a week-long investigation initiated by the New York State Police Computer Crimes Unit.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation based in Binghamton also assisted police in the case.
District Attorney Joseph McBride said the charged acts allegedly took place at McDonough’s residence, which is located about 300 feet from the Broome County line in the Town of Greene.
