Oxford 11, Sherburne 10
OXFORD – Oxford had three hits from Justin Schray, one of those knocks a home run, and Schray pitched six innings striking out seven as his club held on for an 11-10 win over Sherburne, Tuesday in the Otsenango Pony League.
Schray and Andrew Golden hit back-to-back homers in the bottom of the sixth giving Oxford an 11-4 lead.
Sherburne stormed back with six runs in the top of the seventh, but a come-backer to reliever, Golden, ended the game.
Schray led with three RBI and Richard Ryan had three hits for Oxford.
Nate Piazzi led Sherburne with four basehits.
