Earlville Fire Dept. buys equipment with Rotary grant

Members of the Earlville Fire Department demonstrate a new foam generating nozzle provided by a grant from Rotary District 7170 and the Sherburne Rotary Club. A $1,527 grant enabled the fire department to purchase two specialized nozzles and a foam inductor needed to produce foam for fighting fires which are resistant to traditional water attack. This equipment will provide enhanced fire fighting capabilities to the residents of the Earlville Fire District and surrounding Fire Districts. Each year the Sherburne Rotary looks for worthwhile local projects to support with District Simplified Grant funds. This grant to the Earlville Fire Department is the fourth local project that the Sherburne Club has been able to support.
