NORWICH – Taking from its positive experiences at summer team camp basketball tournaments, Norwich will host its own team camp Saturday, July 31 at Norwich High School and the Norwich Family YMCA.

The tourney is open to all boys’ junior varsity and varsity teams, said Norwich coach Mark Abbott. “For the past three springs and summers, we have traveled to a number of colleges and participated in their team camps,” Abbott said. “It has been both a tremendous opportunity, and a very rewarding experience. The more we thought about it, the more we realized we could provide that same opportunity for a number of other teams, and we hope to have a great turnout.”
