NORWICH – The Chenango County Young Democrats will conduct their first meeting in collaboration with the Chenango County Democratic Party at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Guernsey Memorial Library, 3 Court St., Norwich.

The meeting will include a discussion regarding how to appeal to young voters in the area, priorities for the youth community of Chenango County and how to most effectively mobilize for the 2010 elections.

According James Zieno, president of the Chenango County Young Democrats, too many youths aren’t interested in government. He hopes a club for young Democrats will inspire youths from all political parties to get more involved.
