Julian, Jimi Button’s work featured at NBT Bank’s ‘Wall of Art’

NORWICH – NBT Bank’s Wall of Art is featuring the photography of Julian Button and his nephew Jimi Button at the bank’s Norwich Office on South Broad Street. Their work will be on display until late August.
Julian Button is the owner and operator of Earth Art Studio in Sherburne. In addition to photography, he works in such mediums as fine art, leaded glass and computer art. He has exhibited widely and won numerous awards. His work is in collections throughout the United States. One of his most visible projects locally is the lobby mural he painted for the Northeast Classic Car Museum in Norwich.
Jimi Button is a Sherburne native who recently graduated with a degree in photography from Nossi College of Art in Nashville, Tenn., where one of his photos earned a Gold National ADDY Award. He is a professional photographer based in Nashville.
For its Wall of Art, NBT Bank is partnering with the Chenango County Council of the Arts to highlight the creativity of area residents. Council Executive Director Victoria Kappel said: “Rarely do you find this much artistic talent in one family. Julian Button has been a creative force in Chenango County for quite a while. Now, with this dual exhibit, residents can view the impressive work of Jimi Button as he begins his career.”
