Two new automotive businesses open up in Norwich

NORWICH – Two new automotive businesses in Norwich have opened their doors at one location offering customers their combined expertise in complete automotive care and restoration.

Robert Greenman, owner of Bob’s Collision and Customs, along with Christopher D. Maceda, owner of Maceda Automotive, opened for business Monday at 5442 state Route 12, a few hundred yards south of the Walmart intersection in the Town of Norwich.

Combined, the two men have three decades of automotive repair experience. Before opening their respective businesses, they were co-workers at a local automotive shop that recently left the area.

“We’ve worked together for a while. We understand how to get along and what needs to be done. We’re both dedicated to the little things. We know only good quality work will keep customers coming back,” said Greenman.

“As new business owners, we want to build a quality reputation and the only way to do that is with high quality work. When people come in, they know it’s not just an employee working on their vehicle, it’s the owners. We’re invested,” added Maceda. “To us this is an opportunity of a lifetime.”

The two businesses share the same building, and a customer sitting in the lobby probably wouldn’t realize the two offices down the hall were separate companies, especially with the owners working so closely together.
