Puzzled Players improv comedy invades 6 On The Square

OXFORD – This Saturday at 7:30 p.m., join 6 On The Square (6OTS) for an evening of laughter and fun as they welcome the Puzzled Players Comedy Improv Theater. In the style of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” the Puzzled Players create the zaniest improvised scenes based upon audience suggestions. It’s interactive, alternative, comedy theater so no two shows are ever the same.

Mayhem can - and does - happen when the Puzzled Players take the stage. Originally formed in 2002 by ten intrepid Toastmasters to provide entertainment for its own club, the founding members performed their first show in January of 2003, and then gelled into a finely tuned comedy machine.

The Puzzled Players today consist of five funny performers – Bill Whiting, John Carey, Joe Falank, Tom Maloney and Mitch Tiffany. Their backgrounds are diverse, their training spans from coast to coast, but one thing is consistently clear…they all LOVE what they do. You’ll see them do skits such as a Daytime Talk Show as a child’s story- that you suggest, use audience members as props in Living Scenery, and you’ll see the world’s most dangerous improv game…Mousetraps! The Puzzled Players have to be part of the few professionals that really can laugh all the way to the bank. After seeing their show, you’ll be laughing all the way home and then some. Come find out about Moose Pie too.
