Four different Raiders scored goals Saturday night against Bainbridge-Guilford, the last two coming after B-G had closed the gap to 2-1. “One of the biggest things is that we didn’t let down after they scored,” Bradbury said. “Toward the end of the game, we started to jell well.”
Lauren Hill and Tanya Barnes had first-half goals, the latter tally assisted by Kali Murphy. Murphy added a goal and an assist in the second half with Sarah Wildfeir adding the final goal.
B-G closed to 2-1 early in the second half on Corinne Riegel’s goal. “We were more aggressive getting to the ball first, and we just got off a lot of shots,” Bradbury said.

In the consolation game, UV scored with 3:15 remaining in the second half to upend Norwich, 1-0.

Kristyn Gould was in the right place for UV and pushed in the tally. “The game was about equal as far as possession and opportunities,” said UV coach Janelle Ross. “Jordan (Anderson) was stopping everything that came down, and their goalie (Hailey Dietrich) was stopping everything. There was one little mistake, and we capitalized.”
