SFCU hosts “Meet the Candidates”

NORWICH – The Sidney Federal Credit Union will host the Annual “Meet the Candidates” Chamber Business After Hours from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 20 at their Norwich location on the corner of County Route 32 and State Highway 23.
As we look toward Election Day, Nov. 2, 2010, the business community will play a critical role in engaging citizens from across the country in the legislative and political process. “This event provides members an opportunity to be face to face with our legislative candidates in an informal setting to discuss the issues and ask questions that may be important to your business,” says Maureen Carpenter, President & CEO of Commerce Chenango. “This is a critical time for New York State, and with high stakes elections, it is important to get out and vote.”
Sidney Federal Credit Union offers financial services from eight locations to those who live or work in Otsego, Chenango or Delaware Counties and the Town of Colesville. SFCU has a total membership of over 46,800. The Norwich branch of SFCU has been serving members since 1988.
Chamber members wishing to attend should RSVP by contacting the Chamber at 334-1402 or by emailing jeddy@chenangony.org. Refreshments will be available and networking is encouraged.
