Smithville Firefighters host Nov. 2 fundraiser
The new fire station in Smithville Flats is underway and going up fast. The fire company members invite everyone to take a drive by and take a look at how fast the fire station as it is going up. Volunteers are continuing fundraising for the new fire station. The fire company will be having a chili, soup and bake sale on Election day Nov. 2 at the old fire station. There’s also a deposit bottle and can drive going on; drop your deposit cans and bottles in the bin at the old fire station. The members of the Genegantslet Fire Company want to thank everyone for their support for the new fire station project.
