NORWICH – Owego avenged a five-game loss to Norwich from earlier this season, and won the first round of sectional play Tuesday night, 25-23, 22-25, 25-23, 25-17.
Lauren Edwards had 25 assists for the Indians, and Jess Kemmerling finished with a team-best 12 kills.
Lexi Perez had four aces and five blocks for Norwich (10-5), who finished with the team’s best record in at least two decades. Rhea French picked up five assists, and Laura Zagada led the Tornado with three kills.
