Foul play not suspected in Bainbridge death

BAINBRIDGE – New York State Police are hoping to determine the cause of death of a 39-year-old Bainbridge man discovered outside a home at 13 West St. in the Village of Bainbridge Sunday.

State Police Captain James Barnes acknowledged the deceased man, William Peck, was relatively young and discovered outdoors, but said police had no reason to suspect foul play.

“There is no reason to suspect criminality in the death; we initiate death investigations all the time,” said Barnes.
