Holy Family 2nd graders reach out to those in need

Mrs. Strano’s second grade class at Holy Family School in Norwich worked very hard this year on the annual Christmas service project. Each year, the second grade class adopts a family to make sure they have a brighter Christmas. This year, the class adopted two families, and sold handmade ornaments after school to raise money for food and clothes as the foundation of those Christmas baskets. Other gifts were donated by the students' families as well as through the efforts of the Sherburne Wheelers ATV Club. In the photo are Mrs. Strano, Mrs. Weyrauch and the second grade students, who have truly learned about the joy of giving this season.
