Blood drive Monday proves Norwich is a "Community That Cares"

NORWICH –  Residents of Norwich and the American Red Cross will join together for a special blood drive on Monday, Dec. 27, from noon – 7 p.m. at the Howard Johnson at 75 North Broad Street in Norwich.  All presenting donors will receive a free American Red Cross T-Shirt provided by Christman Motor Sales, Inc, as well as free yogurt from Chobani.

 A “Community That Cares” blood drive is a Red Cross initiative to help engage local citizens and boost regional blood supplies by enlisting community support. The goal at this drive is to collect 100 units of blood.

All presenting donors at this blood drive, and at all drives in December in the New York-Penn Region, will be eligible to enter a raffle to win one of four Home Theater Entertainment Packages, courtesy of Best Buy, which include a large, flat screen TV, a Blu-ray player and a surround sound stereo system.
