OTSELIC – Halloween scares have come to an end, but Terror on Texas Hill still has some treats to share. The haunted Halloween trail was open for one weekend in October. Husband-and-wife team Chris and Lori Marquard welcomed visitors to walk through the terrifying scene. They collected freewill donations and food items for a local food pantry.
Now that the decorations have come down, Chris and Lori announced that this year’s project raised more than $6,000. All the proceeds will be donated to Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital. All of the food donations went to the food pantry in South Otselic.
“We had a scary good time. See you next year,” Lori said.
