Borst scores career-high for ESU

LAKEWOOD, N.J. – East Stroudsburg University sophomore, Barb Borst (Greene Central School, 2009), hit seven three-pointers and scored a career-high 24 points leading her club to a 53-43 road win over Georgian Court Thursday afternoon.

Borst scored 10 points in the first half and 14 points in a nine-minute span in the middle of the second half to give the Warriors (2-6) their second victory of the season. Her seven three-pointers are tied for the second-most in school history, and she surpassed her previous career-highs of 21 points and five three-pointers established in ESU’s season opener at Clarion.
