NORWICH – NBT Financial Group Corporate Senior Vice President Timothy Handy announced today that Diane Joos has joined NBT Financial Group as vice president and operations manager. In this position, Joos will oversee the group’s systems, technology and regulatory needs and practices.

Joos has more than 30 years of financial services experience including trust and securities brokerage operations management. Before joining NBT Financial Group, for 11 years she served as vice president and operations manager for Harleysville National Bank & Trust Co. in Harleysville, Pa. Her experience in trust services also extends to CoreStates Bank, N.A. of Philadelphia, Pa. where she managed multiple departments and implemented and enforced operational procedures and controls. Joos received her Certified Financial Planning designation from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Co.
