Police looking for driver in pedestrian hit and run
NEW BERLIN – Police are searching for the driver of a Black Dodge or Chrysler sedan who struck a South New Berlin pedestrian Tuesday.
The New Berlin Police Department said evidence collected from the scene indicated the car suffered damage to its right side passenger door and mirror. Police also said the evidence identified the suspect vehicle’s color and maker.

Police said two pedestrians were walking a local convenient store at around 8:45 p.m. yesterday along county Route 23 when a car traveling east struck one of them from behind. The victim was taken to Chenango Memorial Hospital by the South New Berlin Ambulance with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
The car was last seen traveling east on Rt. 23 toward the Town of Morris.
