Bonnell places in three events at SUNYAC league championship
GENEVA – SUNY Cortland freshman, Sarah Bonnell (Norwich High School) registered two second-place finishes and one third-place finish to highlight Cortland’s performances at the SUNYAC Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships last weekend.
Bonnell finished second in the 55-meter dash with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 7.26 seconds. She also placed second in the long jump with an ECAC-qualifying 5.23 meters (17-2), and was third in the 200-meter dash with an ECAC-qualifying time of 26.42 seconds.
SUNY Cortland finished third in team scoring with 93 points behind Buffalo State (124) and Geneseo (106).
