Local runners set Section IV record

The Bainbridge-Guilford-Afton/Oxford 1,600-meter relay team of Emily Woodford, Julia Knapp, Isamarie Ramos, and Katie Woodford placed third in the Emerging Elite Division at the New Balance Indoor National Track & Field Championships held March 11-13 at New York City’s Armory Track. The Chenango County foursome set a new Section IV record timing 4:02.19.
